i forgot my sunscreen this weekend at the beach and the twenty-something clerk at the corner beachy pool-toy/sunglasses/bathing suit/sunscreen/puka bead/toms store insisted that Sun Bum Continuous Spray Sunscreen, SPF 30, 6-Ounce was the only sunscreen i should be considering because it is “all natural and doesn’t feel like sunscreen and smells really good . . . or we have, like, tropicana, with the kid stuff outside . . .” right. there’s really no place to go from here, am i right? had i my children in tow, i would be all over tropicana (target is usually our brand of choice). but, finding myself without my kids, i kind of felt like a loser if i didn’t at least pretend like i was interested. and, once i checked out the back panel, i decided i had to indulge myself with the $19 can of sunscreen (much to hubby’s chagrin) (a fool and his money???). and, surprize!!! she was RIGHT!!! it IS all natural (paba-, paraben-, and oil-free), it DOESN’T feel like sunscreen (way less greasy), and it DOES smell really, really, good (FYI — the coconut lip balm is divine!!! – just sayin’)! it promises not to clog pores and, guess what, i had absolutely no signs of a clogged pore. hooray!!! think i’ll keep the Sun Bum Continuous Spray Sunscreen, SPF 30, 6-Ounce in MY beach bag and stick to target for the kids — no sense in losing my head, right?
