it’s a golden morning

well the golden globes are over and we’ve got our favorites and our “not sure why you wore that” from the night.  i like the golden globes over the oscars, mainly because i don’t get to see that many movies and the golden globes seem to be a little more relaxed. plus who can resist tina and amy? so here you go:

best dressed:

naomi watts; the strapless yellow is a wonderful burst of sunshine on this gray day

emily blunt; i love the white with the turquouise earrings

reese witherspoon; she already sparkles but this dress brought it to a new level

emma stone; now i debated long and hard on this one; love the pants but lose the bow

anna farris; so unexpected but it works

diane kruger; oh my did you see the back

not sure why you wore that or as i like to call it, your stylist may want to look for a new client:

keira knightley; i mean such a pretty girl but this dress did not do it

lena dunham; honestly if you a tattoo that big you’ve got an uphill mountain to climb

lana del ray; how could such a beautiful voice be entrapped in this green dress

rosamund pike; two words: gone girl

claire danes; she needed to keep this on the homeland

melissa mccarthy; she looked so good the other night-what happened at the golden globes

best hair and makeup:

jennifer lopez; well because she looks so much like well…jlo

viola davis; with her classic look she definitely can get away with murder

kate beckinsale; i love the hair up because her dress is just beautiful and her hair does not distract

amanda peet; i didn’t love the dress but the lipstick and handbag helps

jared leto; he rocked the braid

i should have invested in double stick tape:

kate hudson; i felt the need to shield my daughter’s eyes just in case

jessica chastain; that dress may need a little “help”

siena miller; the british are back

louise roe; the grecian look works for her

best accessories and i’m not talking about the man on your arm:

amal alamuddin; how many stars will be wearing long white gloves to the next award show

salma hayek; love love love the belt

leslie mann; how about the green next to her yellow-fabulous!

prince; who else can rock a cane and fro

my mom would be proud:

helen mirren; she defines class

christine baranski; now she is the “good wife”

julia louis-dreyfus; she has come a long way since elaine

meryl streep; i never get tired of seeing what she wears

finally tonight is the first fashion police since joan rivers passed away. i loved watching fashion police and even though there were definitely some crass moments she didn’t have a problem laughing at her self. i hope kathy griffin can ride that narrow line.
