I’ve saved the best for last. We are one week away from Christmas. You’ve been running around taking care of everyone else, here is the blog post that you simply forward on to someone who will either fill your stocking or make sure it gets filled. Here are a few ideas…
Bobbi Brown Instant Smokey Eye Set: Y’all’ know I’m all about get in and get out. This smokey eye set by Bobbi Brown is easy peasy. All you do is take the cream stick and smooth with your finger and done! Add mascara for an extra oomph. The other Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow that I love is the Sequin Eye Shadow. I recently bought the brown and purple but the green looks just beautiful. This eye shadow looks dark but I promise it goes on very light with just a hint of sparkle.
Speaking of mascara, y’all know Caroline and I love Charlotte Tilbury mascara. It is da bomb! Caroline hooked me up with Charlotte Tilbury last year and I can’t get enough. See here. Literally and figuratively this mascara is fabulous. I promise it is a great stocking stuffer.
NARS Blush. There is a reason why I chose this color and if you click on the link you’ll know why. I know this is the third makeup product I’ve put in this post but let’s face it, we are running ragged and we need all the help we get it this time of year.
Clinque Eye Makeup Remover. I’ve tried a lot of eye makeup removers and this has proven to be the most gentle on my eyes and since I’m not trying to add additional wrinkles this is a great gift.
A little perfume. I’ve been wearing La Chasse Aux Papillons ever since I went to New York with some friends a few years ago and discovered it. It is light and airy and not too overpowering. If you don’t want to buy a big bottle go and buy a few samples that she can put in her travel bag.
Ok don’t laugh but I love pretending that I’m Martha Stewart and so when I saw this little cute gadget I had to mention it. The Paderno Handheld Spirlazer turns your veggies into these cute spirals. I know it is not something that you are going to just pick up for yourself but that is what Christmas stockings are meant for.
Sur La Table Herb Shears. I actually bought this for myself a few years ago and loved it so much that I started giving it as gifts too. So easy. I love cooking with fresh herbs and this just makes it that much easier and let’s face it come January we will all be wanting to add some herbs to our fish and chicken. Speaking of which, if you have a Sur La Table in your town I love their cooking classes. I’ve done them by myself, with friends, my daughter and even my husband and don’t forget Caroline and I’s first post was from their cooking class. One of their cooking classes would make a great stocking stuffer as well.
I read about the gLove Paraffin Treatment for your hands in O Magazine. This time of hear my hands get so dry that all the lotion in the world can’t keep them soft so when I read about these in the recent O Magazine I thought this would be a perfect stocking stuffer. It is like the Baby Foot Peel but without all the exfoliation.
Cashmere Gloves. Ok I know I’m getting a little carried away but seriously we work really hard and deserve a good stocking. But this is my last idea, the fingerless cashmere gloves. I love this heather gray with the pop of pink and the fact that they are fingerless just makes it easier to keep texting and emailing.
