I’m about trying to simplifying things. I find that when things get complicated then I’m unhappy. The same goes for my clothes and accessories. I run late because I can’t decide what to wear, question whether something matches etc…Before heading off to Spring Break I cleaned out my closet and packed a big bag to send to Thred Up, again simplifying things.
When I first heard about Simon Miller I was skeptical, would it be worth the price of putting another item in my closet. Simon Miller actually launched as menswear in 2008 but this season brought out womenswear and accessories including two purses (yes, just two bucket bags) and a beautiful collection of hammered silver jewelry.. The clean lines was exactly what I was looking for. The fact that this purse has a “punch” with the silver rings as handles is just what I need. It is not going to be a purse that you carry with the intention of carrying everything but the kitchen sink (but then wouldn’t that take away the theme). The hammered jewelry is in a word fabulous! My favorite piece is the Wind Pendant necklace but you need to check out the hammered earrings and cuff.
Check out what else Simon Miller has to offer, you won’t find much but I love that because less “stuff” to clutter up my closet. This simple linen tank or this double raw tank in beige with the key hole back will go with jeans or a simple black skirt and these skinny jeans in grey will take me from one place to another without much thought.
