My favorite sale of the year, Net-A-Porter’s Summer Sale is in full swing right now. Before you peace out on me thinking, “That s#@t’s too expensive,” just hold up. I have selflessly combed the sale racks for you to bring you a pretty well-edited selection. Here’s the deal with the Net-a-Porter sale: Now’s the time to grab some nice summer things while the prices are more in your comfort zone. And, I promise, nothing I have pulled is more than $250 (except for just one thing (and it’s not bad)), so you are good. . . This is not a post on “Oh, look!!!! You can get these gorgeous Valentino sandals on sale for $1200!!!” Promise!
This summer’s hottest bags are straw and embellished with brightly colored pom-poms and pallettes, much like the ones you might find in Mallorca. I am majorly crushing on this one and this one from Antik Batik, both of which will shut. down. any outfit at the beach or in town — from shirt dresses, to beach cover-ups to summer evening attire, this is the bag I’ll grab! If you’re in the market for a larger tote, grab this one from Sensi Studio!
If you haven’t yet grabbed a brightly colored pair of Sam Edelman’s, girl, you better get on it!! Try these, these, and these – at $50, $52, and $78 (wow!), they will probably be gone before this even posts!!! If color just ‘ain’t yo thang,’ check out these from K Jacques – a classic ankle wrap that will be great with all your sundresses and perfect poolside. Also, and I know that this breaking the guideline I set for myself, but if you have been admiring these Isabel Marant rope sandals (and all the knock-offs) as I have, now is the time to jump on them. Even thought they are $325 on sale, they are pretty classic and are sure to elevate just about anything casual you will wear in the warm months (imagine how chic they would be with cropped Levi’s and a white T-shirt!!).
Now is the time to grab a new bathing suit for the summer. I am so in love with this one by Adriana Degreas — the colors are swoon worthy (I am a fool for color + print) and I find this neckline to be universally flattering — it really shows off your shoulders. Also, check out this one by Mara Hoffman — it totally hooks into the off the shoulder vibe that has the fashion set spiraling into the stratosphere and is sure to cover and balance a multitude of sins.
In the cover-up/hot summer dress department, my favorite is this one by my new favorite designer, Dodo Bar Or. Also, check out this one from Sensi Studio, this one and this great top from Melissa Obadash.
